Enhancing "Accueil" iView in Portal

Hi,

I have a requirement where I need to enhance UI layout for 'Accueil' (french for welcome) iView that is displayed on landing page of every role.

From PCD, I found out following properties of this iView: -

Type : Web dynpro

App name : XssMenu

App namespace : sap.com/pcui_gp~xssutils

App param : sap.xss.menuargrp=ACCUEIL ESPACE COLLABATEUR"

Can you tell me how do I achieve it?

I suppose its a WD Java iView. But I am not able to locate it in my NWDS.

Please help.

Thanks & Regards,

Amey

    Dear Amey,

I'm not sure, but I think you can't change the layout as you pretend.

For that to happen you would need to change the standard JAVA WD that renders the page for you.

    Kind Regards

    • Thanks for replies Ricardo.

Any ideas/clues about how to edit this standard WD DC?

We got App name, namespace details from iView (mentioned in my question above)...

But i don't see that DC in 'Inactive' DCs list...

Is there any way we can achieve it from a PAR file development?

    Salut Amey,

If I understand you correctly, you want to change the landing ESS home page.

It is also known as the ESS Homepage Framework

Check this post for more information:

    [Customize Overview Page of ESS Creation?;

If you want to change that page, all your changes need to be done with SPRO.

    No need to Enhance.

If on the other hand you want to dynamically change that page (at run-time that is), then you can add Proxy Classes (also done with SPRO and SE24 to create the class).

    Hope this helps.

    Cordialement
