Hi Expert,

When we would like to make a PO from portal, we have an issue like this :

"Object or set with GUID 00000000000000000000000000000000 does not exist"

Just for the information.

We have maintain number range for PO at 'Define Number Range for Local Purchase Orders". and also have assigned it at PO type ECPO and ECDP.

And at Define Number Ranges per Backend System for Follow-on Documents, we have maintained number range PO for backend system.

And also Define Backend System for Product Category which source system is SRM system and target system is R3 system.

Do we have missed config? or do you have any idea what should i maintain ?

warm regards,

Hi Rhesa,

I was having the same issue and performed an Authorization Trace - ST01.

Trace Result:

BBP_PD_SC  RC=4  ACTVT=SO;type=HT;name=87973D9EBED116D54C82C7C2063F81;

It worked after adding this Value SO (Process in Sourcing) to Activity Field (ACTVT) in Object BBP_PD_SC.

Please ignore this message, if it is not working.

Hi

I suspect the error is due to the data in IMG activity "define backend system for product category". As you are in extended classic scenario, I assume you have replicated product categories from R3 backend. In that case, for the product category the source system should be R3 but not SRM and target system should also be R3 backend.

Hi Rhesa,

Under Define Backend System for Product Category, your source system should be ECC system and target system should be SRM system.

Kindly make these changes and test the behaviour.

Hi Nikhil,

I have changed the configuration like your suggestion. But unfortunately still occur the error message.

I doubt this message error is because the system can't find the GUID organization management. but still i can't fix this error.

This issues are stoping our realization activities.

Hi Rhesa,

Are the numbers ranges in the SRM internal and Backend with the same referenced document typ external.

Seems to be the issue with the number ranges, please check this and revert.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Venkata,

Does the PO document type in SRM and R3 should be same? Or only the number range should be the same?

Yes number range in R3 is external number range and in SRM is internal number range. And the range are same.

Do i have missing config?

Hi Rhesa,

The document type should also be same in SRM (transaction type) and ECC.

Hi Venkata,

Thanks for your reply.

I have equate document type for both system.

In SRM : ECPO with internal number range.

in ECC : ECPO with external number range.

But still occur the same issue.

btw, after i checked in SRM number range. That's number already up automatically, but the document is not created.

What should i do now?
