SDK 6.7 SAP 2004A - add on registration error - add on already registered

"The new or the same version of the addon is already registered"

this is the message i get when trying to regiter the add on. I have remove the add on and cannot even find and registry entry remaining too.

my addon exe is called Message.exe

I tried recompiling the Message.exe (not the installler )

and redid the .ard file with the add on registration data generator but no help.

any help regarding this is appreciated.
