Enhancement of Possible agents

G'day gurus!

I have a task and perform agent assignment.

I set "General forward not allowed"

I assign a job to the task, which currently leads to different positions with an amount of users.

Is it possible via exit or something else to add logic when SAP check who is "Possible agents".

Meaning that IF I would assign three jobs as "possible agents "to that task only ONE of them should be valid during run-time depending on company code.

TASK 123 >> possible agents assigned via JOB1 JOB2 JOB3

Runtime 1>> depending on company code possible agents for TASK 123 only JOB1 should be valid for possible agents

Runtime 2 >> for another company code.....same TASK 123 but JOB2 should be valid.....for possible agents

Any ideas?

Best regards

Henrik

    hello,

Not sure if I understand completely but it sounds like you're just trying to do agent assignment here.

One option is to make the task General Task (so all users are Possible agents) and then define responsible agents via a rule (AC.... in tx PFAC). It could be a responsibility rule, or you could write a custom function. You can make it as complicated as you want.

    Hi,

you're describing a rule there, just create one in pfac with a containerelement for company code then maintain the responsibilities depending on that company code.

And us it in your workflow.

    • Hi- If forwarding is the problem, as an alternative, you could enhance std. FM- SWWFORWARD or SAPWAPIFORWRD* which SAP calls at the time of forward

Then you need to get the corresponding company code for that workitem id and compare the forwarded agent with the set of agents which is under Job or Position

Again this forward check will be applicable to all the workitem, so you need to add additional check to restrict only for particular task id
