CRRUNTOME_12_2.MBL.exe & Alerts

Hello, can you please tell me if crruntime_12_2.MBL.exe (for 2008) supports Alerts created in Crystal Reports 2008?

I have created an Alert which works correctly in Crystal Reports Preview, however when I view this in our Accounting Application which uses crruntime_12_2 the Alert does not display.

I think the first question to ask is; is this working on your development computer? E.g.; when you say; "...our Accounting Application", is this an app you wrote, or is this a 3rd party app?

It works in Crystal Reports Preview.

It is not an app I wrote, the application is called Advanced Business Manager Software. It's a off the shelve package.

I am a reseller/consultant.

You'll have to go to who ever makes Advanced Business Manager Software and ask them. At this time, we have no idea how things are working under the hood. And just adding some ethanol to the gas tank probably won't make any difference.

That still doesn't answer my original question if "Alerts" are generally supported in CRRUNTIME_12_2.MBL?

Yes they are - still nothing to do with how the engine is implemented

Though I'd recommend going to SP4
