Material Ledger-Periodic unit price manual change effect on Inventory Value

Dear All,

Does The current Inventory value would be changed/Adjusted in ML if I cahnge the periodic Unit price in ML by changing the Moving average price in Material master ( Accounting1 View)manually through MM02.

" The issue is that my Business want to change the specific Material's Periodic unit price from 77639.5 to 7435.75 in ML as it was wrongly revaluated "

Our expected reult is that inventory should be valuated at the Periodic unit price 7435.75 when we close the period 9 in ML

For your information, this material has beginning inventoy is zero and Ending Inventory is 1859.5 KGS.We are good with Quantity.

Please advice .

Hi Ramakrishna

For material reavaluation use MR22, it will debit or credit the material price.

MR22 uses key UMB/PRD, you must run MR22 before CKMLCP in order to roll up cost to upper levels.

Hi Ramakrishna,

You can to the CKMCCC and enter the difference amount either ADD or MINUS to existing values, initially it will go to Price Difference account and while month end activities It will adjusted correctly.

In MR22 you have to post negative value -70203,75 to adjust your stock to the value you want.

If your material is 3/S (price determination/control) you don´t need to fill the quantity. The quantity is used for material 2/V.

So, we post the differnce amount in the MR22 as you adviced, Let you know the results once we close the period 9 in the ML.
