Storage location assignment

Hi,

In the production order, After assigning the batch in component overview, if I try to change the storage location system is accepting any storage location.

Eg: Batch is available in S.loc 001.

1. When I try to assign the batch in s.loc 002, system is not showing any error.

2. After assigning the batch the batch, if i change the s.loc. system is allowing to change any s.loc.

Requirement:

If batch is not available in particular s.loc, system should not allow. What settings I need to do?

Hi,

Availability of stock/batch is determined during ATP check. If you manually change after which you don't perform an ATP check again, it will not show that stock is not available. This is standard logic.

You can use a user exit to always check ATP when you save an order, and give error if there's no availability, but consider all posible situation before doing this, since you may want is some cases to save even if there's no availability.

By selecting availability check (OPJK) the problem got resolved.
