CAT7 Error message E KI 806.

Hi,

User had post some time sheet entries using T code CAT2 in the month of August 2011 & user is now doing CAT7 in the month of September 2011. She is getting an error E KI 806 Transaction activity allocation has been locked.

Since the August period is locked. Is there any way to delete those timesheet enteries for the month of August in the month of September & also please let me know is this period lock was the actual error for this.

If we went into CATS_APPR_LITE and unapproved them, would this solve the problem?

Hi,

Yes this error is because of the period being locked. You can try opening the period, if your business allows to do so. However this is not recommended. You can try rejecting those hours in the tcode that you have mentioned and delete the hours posted for the month of August in CAT2 transaction.

Check this and revert.

Hi,

As per our configuration we can delete hours form CAT2 only for past 3 weeks, so now its too late.

How can we disapprove/reject hours in T code CATS_APPR_LITE. Please send me the screenshot if possible.

Hi,

Execute CATS_APPR_LITE for the relevant selection criteria and on the top left you can see 2 icons, one with the tick and one with a cross. Click on the cross to reject the hours.
