Change in stock account

Dear Experts

When i do the material movements of semi-finished and finished goods the

change in stock account (GL ) is getting updated wrongly. While transaction, system

should pick material master standard price, but my case some documents taking material

master moving average price and some are taking production order standard price.

my client never doing the costing run and price update, but the system is taking

the production order standard Price.

Why system is behaving like this, Is it any configuration problem, Please give me your valuable suggestion.

What is the price indicator in Material Master it must be S for FG.

Is any split valuation active in your case and at which price indicator it is maintained.

Kindly check and confirm.....

Thanks for your reply

I had maintained the price indicator S in material master

And also I had activated split valuation for spares materials only , not in this semi finished and finished materials

Material movement should happen at standard price only. Kindly check what are you telling production order standard price must be price that is maintained in the material master only.

How did you determine the system is picking the moving average price in some cases at which period you are analysing.

Costing run is not being done you have mentioned then the standard price is same in every period.
