Dear Gurus,
Can any one explain what is a org plan and a org structure and their differences.
Warm Regards,
Zulfikarlos
You can create several organizational plans in different plan versions. This provides you with the following options in Organizational Management: In one plan version, you depict your current valid organizational plan, which you use for your current business processes (evaluations, Workflow, personnel planning, for example). In additional plan versions, you can depict organizational plans as planning scenarios (for Business Process Re-Engineering, for example). You can compare the current organizational plan with the planning scenarios and transfer data from the simulated structures into the current organizational plan.
Using the org structure (org unit, position, person etc) u create different org plans.
If it makes more simple, u can say org structure is a structure of a company and org plan can be ur future expansion plans (that will be an another org structure created under a different plan version)

Hi,
An organisational plan depicts the organisation structure of an organisation. It is created by using the org units and positions. An organisation plan is a comprehensive and dynamic model of the structural and personnel enviornment in your enterprise.
Hope this is helpful.
Thanks
