Repeated area values are getting repeated

Former Member

Hi,

I have created a repetitive area to calculate the tax break up.

The tax break up is repeating twice for each row

e.g

BED 10

Cess 2

H cess 1

again

BED 10

cess 2

H Cess 1

Total

BED 20 instead of BED 10

Cess 4 instead of BED 4

HCess 2 instead of BED 2

What could be the problem

Thanks

Reason for tax break up is repreating twice for each row is below

You may created one database field in Page Header/Footer or Start of Report/End of Report which hase child table linked

That is why the tax break up is getting repeated twice for each row.

If you delect/modify to parent table link in that database field. you problem will be solve

Thanks

Hi Nazeer.....

Please be sure that you have only one repetitive area.

But As I know we place Tax Details not in repetitive area but in Document Footer.

I think you two Line Items so getting repeated two times.....

But I would suggest you to go with Crystal Report....

Hi Rahul,

I had to display the BED,Cess,Hcess(Excise break up) separately hence i had to place one more repetitive area as suggested by one of the threads in the forum

All works fine but only problem is with repetition in PLD

Thanks

HI,

I would like to clarify your statement ,

i had to place one more repetitive area as suggested by one of the threads in the forum

You cant add another repetitive area in PLD.

Please clarify.

Or you mean you add the BED,Cess,Hcess(Excise break up) from the Repetitive Area Header and

also in Repetitive Area.

Thanks.
