CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=>GUI_DOWNLOAD not working in Windows 7 OS

Hello experts,

The FM CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=>GUI_DOWNLOAD is not working in windows 7 OS. The error is - Data provider exception. But is is ok in XP.

Is there any solution for this.

Make sure you have the latest version of SAP GUI (and patch level) on your Windows 7 computer.

Thanks for your reply. I think my system has the latest verison of SAP GUI.

Release: 720 final release

Patch level: 7

File version: 7200.3.7.1066

Is there any version above than this?

I've applyed the 7 patch level on my gui so now the situation is like yours, but I've any error

I've applyed patch 8 and no problem with CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=>GUI_DOWNLOAD

Have you sure you've have all authorization to write a file there?
