Problem with updating Passport details from ESS portal

HI Experts,

Some of my employees were unable to input passport details from ESS portal -own data.

Employee who belong to south korea are getting the problem.

Even though we fill every field,system is showing an error that "" Fill in all required entry fields ""

In spro...we maintained country grouping as 41 and IT 0185 and subtype and we use rthe case B2 in speciy use case and activity subtypes.

Another thing,when we update data in 0185IT by R/3 by backend it is not showing up the details in ESS.

Could you please give me an idea to resolve the problem.

Hello,

Please check in the table V_T588MFPROPS you will find the entry as :

41 02 P0185 AUTH1 first check box is checked.

41 P0185 AUTH1

Just uncheck this box in both the entries, then check out the results, You will not get

any error afterwards.

IN V_T588MFPROPS, we did not maintain any details pertaining to version 41.

What details should we incorporatedin the table V_T588MFPROPS.

For version 40,we maintained 12 fields.

Could you please let me know on Musse..,Assi,fixed and unbenuze..

What details we need to maintain.

Hi Experts,

No details were maintained in the table V_T588MFPROPC for this infotype.

Employee with other country grouping were able to up-date passport details in portal.

Where as south korea employees are not able to update the passport details.

For south korea employees..they have to update passport details with sutype 01 in ESS portal.

Even though we fill all the details it is showing fill in all required entries.

In table V_T588MFPROPS..no details were maintained for version 41.

In portal we have to maintain..ICNUM,ICOLD,AUTH1,FPDAT,EXPID,ISSPL,ISCOT,IDCOT.

In r/3(by backend) we can maintain all these details including ID TYPE(ictyp).We have only one subtype(passport) in 0185 for this south korea.What details shall we need to maintain for version 41.

Please let me know,why system is showing error even we maintain all the details.

Hello Sairam,

Just uncheck the fields from 40 Country grouings for mandatory fields mentioned earlier and then check. This error is related to the authorization one only.

Thanks for the reply.

Already Unchecked (nothing were selected for) auth1 line items for country grouping 40.

It is working for the employee who belong to country grouping 40.

We are facing problem with south korea employees.

Even i tried by copying the field lines of india by changing version as 44.

Even then also it is showing the same error.

One more thing,which i already told that..even though we maintain the data in R/3 s 0185 It via backend..that also not showingup in portal.

Please advice me to resolve the problem.

On a general basis we experience that for some countries/groupings the entries we make in V_T588MFPROPC do not carry through. This is due to the fact that SAP unfortunately hardcodes some checks in the Webdynpro or in classes in backend - ande these then overrule the view. We find this for eg. addresses for Sweden.

Please also note: V_T588MFPROPS i SAP's view. V_T588MFPROPC is for customers.

PROPC should take precedence over PROPS, but as mentioned, sometimes hardcoding messes this up.

In my opinion it is incorrect of SAP to hardcode. So my approach would be an OSS where you tell them you suspect hardcoding. If this does not suceed, the only option would be to change their code.

Hi Experts,

Please let me know the the way to know the mandatory required fields to be filled in passport details page in the employee portal.

Probably system is not showingup(Hiding) the field in ESS portal screen.

Please let me know the way to check the hidden filed in ess portal screen.

HI Friends,

Our korea employees are facing problem in updating passport details through portal.

Also when we update the passport details via PA30 then also in portal it is not showing up the details.

Let me know if any of your korean employee able to update passport details via ESS portal.

Also please share the respective portal settings for korea employees.

Any idea on korea passport details maintainance via ESS portal.

Its not becoming possible to maintain the passport details via Portal.

It is giving the error message that ..please fill reqired entries,even though we filled all the details.
