File adapter Error.

Hello Everyone,

We are trying a very small scenario on XI 3.0

<b>FTP Server>(File Adapter)>XI>(RFCAdapter)>R/3 system.</b>

Since We have kept processing mode as delete.

When we activate business system in Integration Directory, file gets deleted from FTP Server.

We get following Error in Message Monitoring.

<b>Transmitting the message to endpoint http://servername:50000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection AFW failed, due to: Received HTTP response code 404..</b>

nOW I did some following changes reading some of the replys of forum

1)When I made changes in sxmb_admin--integration Engine Configuration Engine -->URL to http://servername:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

And restarted the server.

Server starts up but J2EE Engine doesnt.

it shows message as Application Stopped on URl http

://servername:50000

CAN SOME ONE HELP IN THIS?....Please

It sounds like you have two separate problems here.

First, when sending XI messages to the integration server for processing, the message is handled by the ICM process using its http port, and is handle by the ICF serve /sap/xi/engine. Thus you must use the port of the ICM process, which you can find by going to txn smicm, and then goto -> services (or Shift-F1). Is 8000 your ICM HTTP port?

However, after making this change in sxmb_adm, there should be no need to restart the server; If your server did not fully restart, however, that should not be related to the change you made. 50000 is the default base http port of the SAP J2EE engine. Have you checked all of your RZ10 parameters for automatic start of the J2EE engine?

Hi Paul.

At end of day I realised i dont need to restart the server.

made following changes

1) In transaction

SXMB_ADMIN > INTEGRATION ENGINE Configuration>

changed the URLfrom servername:50000/¡K¡K. to http://servername:8000/sap/xi/engine/type=entry?

2) bomw076a:50000/sld/gen/edit.html„³

HTTP Service Port„³17 instances„³pipeline at EXI

--> URL port changed to 8000

At end of this , after again activating the directory scenario we could find the success message in message monitoring

But now in sxmb_moni i get error id as UPDATE.

HTTP status code401 Unauthorized

An error occurred when refreshing the XI runtime cache

Could you please assist me in this>?
