Hello experts,
in our SAP BI portal I want to call a SAP transaction e. g. RSA1. I created an iView with type "iView SAP transaction". I followed the description in SAP-Help:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/db/85fd3f093bc942e10000000a1550b0/content.htm
● System alias
● The Transaction Code for the Data Warehousing Workbench is RSA1.
● The GuiType property has to contain the value WinGui.
But when transaction is called, I go to the SAP menue, not to the transaction. Than I can change to any other transaction like RSA1, RSANWB, ...
I had the same problem after uploading a role from BW including a transaction.
I think there is a corresponding error in SM21:
Delete session 001 after error 005
Request (type DIA) cannot be processed
Has someone some experiences with this error? Some hints?
Thank you and best regards,
Peter
Hi Peter,
we faced the same problem when upgrading contents to a completely new installed BI 7.0 system. The transaction iview called either the defined specific transaction of the user (table AGR_DATEU) or the defined standard transaction (coded somewhere in webgui service). However the defined transaction in the iview did not have any effect at run time.
Since we could not resolve the issue we issued a SAP OSS note. According to the recommendation of SAP we implemented note 1055324 (which does not really have any obvious relationship to transaction iviews at first sight!). This meant for us to change the parameter for ms/redirect_version to the value "1" which was not really time consuming. Afterwards the transaction iview worked perfectly.
Best Regards,
Marcel

Hi,
For error message "Request (type DIA) cannot be processed" please Make
sure there is always sufficient DIA for both BW and source system, that
is, at least 1 DIA more than all other work processes altogether, for
example, DIA for a total of 15 work processes (see also note 74141) .
Thanks,
Venkat
