AR01 / AR02 Error (Message no. AB059): [Year Dependent Fisc Yr]

Dear Experts,

We have Year Dependent (Calendar Year i.e; Jan to Dec.). We have +1 Year Shift concept, therefore our current fiscal year is 2012 and reporting year is 2011.

We have already run :

AJRW (Fiscal Year Change) for 2010 and 2011 for desired Company Code.

AJAB (Year End Closing Asset Accounting) for 2010 and 2011 for desired Company Code.

I can see Closed Year 2011 in OAAQ for desired Company Code.

QUERY:

When we try to see Asset details through AR01 or AR02 below error is shown (for any report date and year):

Fiscal year change not yet made for company code XXXX

Message no. AB059

Diagnosis

You have not yet carried out a fiscal year change for company code XXXX,

although the current system date is in the new fiscal year.

Procedure

Carry out the fiscal year change for company code XXXX.

Proceed

please see if the following threat is helpful:

Basically, it is a really important error message and you should follow the note and close the fiscal year (0485442).

If your business case in only the reporting, I can offer you the following Workaround. Bear in mind that this is a modification and it is not supported by SAP.

In the include DBADAF05 yo can change the line

MESSAGE E059(AB) WITH T093C-BUKRS.

as follows:

• MESSAGE E059(AB) WITH T093C-BUKRS. "deactivated

or in

MESSAGE S059(AB) WITH T093C-BUKRS. "status

or in

MESSAGE I059(AB) WITH T093C-BUKRS. "Info - Popup
