Dear All,

I need to map warranty based on three condition basically.Only Main components need to track warranty like this specific to each customer .In CS module we have an option of capturing warranty through warranty Master and counters . Is it possible in SAP warranty specific to customer.

Warranties will be created for the equipment. Customer based warranty is not possible. In that case, you can create contract in VA41 for the customer with 100 % discount.

Dear Maheswaran,

Their Business scenario required the customer based warranty. They are not at present having contracts with their customer.

what i know is we can create warranty specific to an equipment. so could you suggest me any other possibilities with apart from the contracts.

Can You tell me the Use of Warranty counters, Measuring Points , Measurement Document and & reading . How are they interconnected in service processing.

Warranty can be created for equipment only. Agreement or contract can be for customers. Try to map the warranty functionality using agreement or contract.
