    Hi Vicente,

You would need to create your own Remote Enabled Function Module (RFM) on the ABAP side that reads/writes the data. Once this is created you can create an Adaptive RFC Model in your Web Dynpro for the RFM.

Of course if you don't want to create an RFM you could create the table in the Java Dictionary and read/update it with SQLJ/JDBC, and wrap all that code up in a Java Bean and use the Java Bean Model offered with the latest version of Web Dynpro in the SAP J2EE Engine (Java Bean model was introduced in SP9).

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

    Cheers,

    Jeff

    Hi Jeff,

The application that i like make is:

A table that i have created in the system SAP, (ztable). In this table i like save date of dinner(first course, second course, sweet and price) and a counter for know how much to dinner today like the menu.

I have a webdyndro with a table where i show this date in columns(first course, second course, sweet, price, menu), and a button for select between different menu's.

How think you make this application?

    Thanks

      Hi Vicente,

I would write an RFM that reads the table data, something like: Z_MENU_GET_LIST - this would return a structure of menu items.

You migt also what an RFM that returns just the detail a single item: Z_MENU_GET_DETAIL.

The of course you would want RFMs that update the table.

Now once those are created you would create an Adaptive RFC Model for these RFMs.

Then all you need to do is call this Model from your Web Dynpro application...

If you haven't used the Adaptive RFC model before, you should first practice with it. See the SDN tutorial on "How to access R/3 Backend in Web Dynpro?". This will help get you started. Once you can do that...then you should write you RFMs that read/write to you Ztable.

      Good luck!

      Jeff
