Update Routine in BW to transfer data from InfoCube to ODS

Hi All,

In my current task i need to fetch few keyfigures in a infocube and calculate a new keyfigure in an ODS. I am failry new to writing update routines in ABAP being an BI consultant.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what can be done.
