JSPM Error

Dear All,

While deploying New Software Components, through JSPM.

It shows error in "VALIDATION PHASE" as below :

An error has occurred during the execution of the JSPM_MAIN Phase

com.sap.sdt.util.diag.developmentSupportRequiredException, Assertion failed for (Validation result ( bKernel Patch = false, : com.sap.sdt.util.diag.SDT.check(SDT java 3.6) com.sap.sdt.util.diag.DevelopmentSupportRequiredException. Assertion fail at com.sap.sdt.util.diag.SDT. Check SDT java 3.6)

You can find more information on the log file : /usr/sap/EPD/JC01/j2ee/JSPM/log/log_2011_09_23_17_43_29/JSPM_M.

Please kindly suggest the solution, and for what this information belongs to,.

That would be SP10, patch 2

Hi,

Please make sure that you have updated the JSPM first.

Also, kindly ensure that the correct SP stack is selected and files have been downloaded correctly.

You may also want to compare the file sizes to ensure that they are not corrupt.

Please paste logs if you continue to get the same error.

JSPM was not updated, updating JSPM now.

Relevant new software components are deployed correctly,

I am little bit confused, and Please required small clarification.

I am trying to upgrade JSPM.

My JSPM Current Version : 7.01.8.0.4

Please let me know, How to read or spell this verssion?

Basing on this verssion, how can we find a latest JSPM verssion?

Please give me a clarity on request.

Hello,

You can have detailed information starting the JSPM and looking at the tab "Deployed components".

You are currently tunning JSPM version 7.01 SP 08 patchlevel 4.

Now i am updating JSPM to 7.01 10 (I found that, it is the latest verssion, under 7.01 version).

JSPM10 0-20002796.SCA (Please give me some information on this, How to read it?).
