Display non changeable Variables / restricted values on variables Screen

is it possible to display non changeable / restricted char values on the variables screen?

Hi Jürgen,

Only these variables which are marked as "ready for input" in variable properties are displayed in variable screen.

I am not very sure what you mean by "non changeable / restricted char values", but if it's not ready for input variable, then it's not displayed in variable screen.

thanks for your reply, we want to give information to the user, that a char is restricted on the variable screen.

Do you know another way to do this?

If i do understand you correct, this simply is not possible, what a pity!

Now I understand what you mean.

I'm afraid this is indeed not possible, unless you create customer exit for i_step=3 to invalidate any change made by user in variable screen for this variable, which is not really a practical way.

Actually the user would be able to see the filter information after query execution. The detailed location depends on whether you use BEx Analyzer or portal.
