JAVA stack startup problem

Hi,

We have IDM JAVA server not coming up.

The problem is license has expired.

My ques is that now when lincese is expired, can i login using "administrator" user in Visual Admin to install the license or I will have to activate the emergency user to do that?

My thinking is that it wont allow me to login with admin user when license is expired, am i right?

Kindly enlighten.

Dear Chilbul,

Please refer to Note Note: 870871 for installation of licence key specially the below section:

SAP NetWeaver AS Java (Release 7.10)

SAP NetWeaver AS Java (lower than Release 7.10) - J2EE Engine standalone

Hi,

Please restart your Java Server. It will perform license checks and as

there is a problem with the license it will go down within 30 minutes.

Before the java server goes down, run the Visual Administrator and apply

your license. You should be able to succed following this approach.
