Hi Sap Gurus,

We have implemented the SAP OSS note 553561 to modify the safety limit in BWOM_settings for most updated Delta Extraction for CO DataSource 0CO_OM_CCA_9, But when i schedule the delta it brings only the CO documents that have created in the month of September 2011 only and we do have a lot of documents resides in R/3 side. Last Delta run a year ago in Sandbox.

Any idea why its not fetching the complete delta?

All kind of help will be appreciated.

Hi,

Are you planning to load complete data. there will be huge data in CCA datasource.

See to it that your BWOM_settings are correct. Also carry out reinit for DSO and you can do it in two ways either init with data transfer or init without data transfer.

Once init carried out do full repair request with the correct selection.

in present case see while carrying out init is there any Fiscal year period selection available in the IP level.

Thanks and regards

Kiran

Hello Shenaz

Are you using BW 3.5 flow or BI 7 flow? I mean do you use InfoPackage and DTP for loading or just infoPackage?

Please delete the delta you have initialized and re-init with Data Transfer. YOu should get all the data till time during re-init with Data transfer.

Hi Ananidya,

I have BW 3.5 data flow and we are using Info Package and by mistake i changed the settings for Initializing the delta in Update Tab of Info Package and then revert it to the existing one then i came to know that i have to delete the request from Scheduler. Is that the problem that data is not coming to BW? Kindly advise

Here the delta is time stamp based. So if you reinit without data transfer it will only pick up those records where posted/changed after the timestamp was updated in the extractor from COEP table. You can check the timestamp updated after every delta Infopackage from RSA7 ( in source system).

Let's say you reinitialized at 7:00 PM. So next delta InfoPackage will pickup those records which were posted after 7 PM.

Another factor will come in to play here is safety delta. If your safety delta lower limit is 30 minutes , next delta IP at 8 PM will fetch record which were posted between 7 to 7 :30 but not after 7:30.

Please go ahead with init with data transfer to get all the records till date and then run normal delta.

Hi,

Your init request would have been Sep month under scheduler menu in the Infopackage. Please delete it and do re-init with transfer, to fetch all the data till date. Your sub-sequent delta will fetch properly.

If you are loading directly to Cube, then you may have to drop all the contents from Cube before you re-init.

Hello

Delete your delta initialization settings and reinitialize delta.

From the infopackage -

>Scheduler( left hand top side) -

>Initialization option for source system.

After deletion do a reinit with DataTransfer option.

Additionally check during re-init you are not using any selection condition
