Hi experts,

cost center ( SER A ) which is already exist in the combination of controlling area MG00 & comapny code

but i want assign same cost center for both company code MG00 & RP00

Is it possible??????

Hi, cost center master(table) data has no key as bukr, so it's not possible to do.

But you can switch off Validation for company code in controlling area, in this way you'll be able to post to cost center in another company code.Eg Cost center assigned to company code 1, and you can post in company code 2 to this cost center(this customization for all controlling area, and if FI-CO real time integration switch off)

As I know the standard practise is to have cost center assigned to one company code.

B'coz, visualise a situation where it is more than one compnay code assignement.

In that case, how a transaction posting will update in FICO.
