How to do off-cycle paymeny in the system

HI All,

This is the 1st time the company needs to pay Bonus to the employee which would paid in mid October 2011. The earlier consultant had made some settings for off-cycle payment it was told to me, but i am not able to process the off-cycle payment for any employee.

I have created an entry in IT - 0267 (Additional Off-Cycle Payments) as 1401- Bonus, 01.08.2011 & Off-cycle reas. 0002 Bonus. Also, in IT - 0015 (Additional Payments) i have created 1401- Bonus, 01.08.2011 and the control record is in Release for Payroll mode.

When I am doing the regular payroll run for a single employee it is giving me the below error;

Payroll run released or correction phase active

This means a special payroll run is not possible

Error during initialization of payroll

Please let me know if any steps i am missing.

    to run offcycle payroll run we have to select the Bonus payment indicator A in payroll driver which says you are running

    offcycle payroll and followed give the date of offcycle you want to run and see in payslip.

    in payroll driver offcycle payroll field.

    and if you are using 0267 infotype for offcycle then the same wagetype no need to use in infotype 0015.

    as you mentioned you have mantianed in 0267 and 0015. please use in 0267 only.

    hope this helps you,

    OK you don't need to release the next period.

    Also when you go into the 'Start Payroll' transaction are you populating the offcycle information, payroll type "A - Bonus Run" and the offcycle payroll payment date field ?

      Actual I missed one step. 😊

      I was keeping the control record in Release for Payroll, where it should be in Exit mode. Now tried it is working fine...

      Thanks all...
