how to handle documents , due to CLM upgradation from 7.0 to 10.0 ?

While Upgrading CLM from 7.0 to 10.0 , How does documents get impacted due to the change in new fields especially at the MA level, Approval workflow ?

Any inputs related to upgrade would be really appreciated.
