Translation date rule REGRA_DT_CONV does not contain base date for process

Hi all,

Anyone know this message:

I'm trying to set up a scenario with foreign currency, where there will be conversion.

Follow msg:

Translation date rule REGRA_DT_CONV does not contain base date for process CFGEN

Message no. RECACT002

Diagnosis

A base date was not entered in the definition of translation date rule REGRA_DT_CONV for process CFGEN.

System Response

The currency translation cannot be made, since the base date is the starting point for determining the translation date.

Procedure

Contact your system administrator.

Enter the translation base date.

Hi,

check the config whether you have maintained base date for the translation rule.

Goto SPRO\RE-FX \ Condition and Flow \ conditions in foreign currency \ specification of translation rules \ specify calculation of translation date based on the process.

Select your translation date rule and goto process dependent determination of date, check "Trans base" for translation process "CFGEN".

Basing on the date you mentioned here, system considers that day's currency conversion. It can be due date and posting date and document date.

Check it once.

Hi Lucas,

As per your configuration you might be getting "Warning message" while saving the contract.

Still you are getting error message !!!!

can you tell me what message you are getting now after you did the config ???

After I do the Configures the message is the same.

I can save the contract, but when I try to simulate match billing, the same error occurs:

Translation date rule REGRA_DT_CONV does not contain base date for process CFGEN

Is my setup wrong? Failure to do something else?

Hi,

As per my understanding you are using translation date rule REGRA_DT_CONV and selected the same in posting term of your contract. And you are using base for calculation is DBERBIS i.e. end of calculation period, while simulating the contract you are getting this error (warning).

If end of calculation period is available in your cash flow and you maintained currency for this date, there should not be any error. Can you change the base date as DUEDATE and error response as "Accept" in config and check the results, just to find out what went wrong !!

To investigate further, put break point at class CL_RETM_PAYMENT_MNGR and method CHECKCURRENCY_TRANSLATION.

Srini, hello.

Problem solved.

But now when I run the transaction RERAPP gives the following message:

Error in document: REACI SIMULATEREPP00000002 DR2CLNT210

Message no. RW609

Diagnosis

Errors occurred when checking or posting the document

Reference type = REACI

Reference key = SIMULATEREPP00000002

Logical system = DR2CLNT210

You can find the errors in the log.

System Response

The document cannot be posted.

Procedure

Remove the error in the document and create and post the document again.
