Percent down to minimum net for garnishment

Hi All,

Just wondering if some one has faced this requirement for garnishment.

either the 25% of disposable net or minumum net which ever is lesser.

We can capture 25% of disposable net but where & how do we capture the minimum net?

These are the the min.net rules:

If an employee is weekly - it is the federal hourly rate (by state) times 30

Example: hourly base rate for Texas is $7.25 X 30 = $217.50

Employee is paid bi-weekly - the federal hourly rate (by state) times 60

Example: hourly base rate for Texas is $7.25 X 60 = $435.00

Disposable wages = 835.90

Minimum net = 435.00.

835.90 x 25% = 208.98

835.90 u2013 208.98 >435.00, therefore $208.98 should be deducted.

Thanks
