Downloading text file from a BSP Application

Hi,

I am able to download the internal table into a text file .

1 .Is it possible to download text file automatically to 'C:\reports' when i click on a button.

It should not bring up the Save or open screen.

2. Is it possible to trigger the URL link at the same time.

1. No. Because of security. Browser will never allow such operation. The only way is to use the java applet(do not know how to give enough rigths to applet) or ActiveX component. There is standard components for accessing the file system. If the user gives enough rights to the script on the page - the script can use filesystem component for normal file operations.

2. I haven't understood completely what does "trigger" mean. If you want to start new window or redirect to another URL - just use the javascript.
