SAP will fill the bins according to their bin number sequence ascending.

If you dont want it this way, then you have to define Sort Sequence for Putaways in OMLM

and assign the indicators in the bins with LS02N or LS11

L is next empty bin strategy , it just means that one receipt is going into one bin, next receipt into next empty bin.

What is "bin number sequence ascending"

A bin has a name, which is usually a coordinate in your warehouse, called a bin number

This is an ascending sequence:

A001 is first

A002 is second

A003 is third

B001 is next

But if the capacity chek is not activated how it will go to the next bin.

Does it mean it will place material in bin A first & for the next empty bin B & so on?

if your first receipt is made into A001. then this bin is occupied. hence the next empty bin is A002.

SAP does not check for capacity if you have not activated the capacity check.

Even you put just 1 Gramm into A001 where you have space for 100 tons, the next receipt will not consider this bin anymore, as it is not empty.

Hi,

What weight have you maintained in the bin/material for the combination?

Thanks
