add text/watermark to PO output

Is it possible to add a text or watermark during runtime of PO mail creation to include a custom text in the final pdf? I am aware its possible to use custom smartform and enable this but I am looking to achieve this during runtime.

I don't know what exactly you meant by "during runtime". Did you mean to add watermark programmatically?

What you could do is to have the watermark as a static picture, e.g. a JPG file, and then set it as the "Background Picture" for all of your smartform pages.

I want to add a text in the output of the PO, the text will not be in the smartform, I want to pass the text before the otf generation.
