' + ' is appeared in place of field names in table mainatainance(SM30)

I think you need to go to SE11 for the table again. For each dataelement you created, you need to input at least a short text in the tab field label. Then regenerate the table maintenance dialog.

Here are your options.

1. If you used data elements that are standard SAP, then you will get the descriptions of those data elements. If you need your own descriptions, you need to create your own data elements.

2. If you used your own data elements, then descriptions will come in SM30.

3. If you used direct built-in types for your fields, then you will see a '+' in SM30. System will not use the field descriptions you entered in the table. the only thing you can do here is to change the descriptions on the maintenance screen. In your table maintenance generation, double click on the screen number you entered. It will take you to screen maintenance(SE51). Go to the element list, 'texts and I/O templates' tab and enter your descriptions there.

CAUTION though, that whenever you regenerate your table maintenance, you need to re-enter these descriptions.

Easy way is always to maintain your own data elements.
