Second J2EE-Engine on same Machine as XI

Hallo,

is it possible to install a second J2EE-Engine on the same machine for testing purpose where XI is runing?

I have a litte bit concerns if both the first Add-In J2EE for XI an the second J2EE-Engine will have conflict to each other. On the second J2EE-Engine i would like to install the Adapter Framework as standalone version.

How to care with unique SID? Has somebody did this already? How many RAM do i need? Is 2 GB enought?

Thanks,

Ly-Na Phu

Hi Ly-Na,

if enough ressources are available on the machine you may install another J2EE with different SID.

The sizing depends on what you intend to do... 2 Gig for AF should generally be OK.

Hi Holger,

the 2 GB is for the whole system e.g. XI base on WAS 6.40

+ Java Add-In and a second J2EE-Engine. Not only for the

Adapter Framework.

Hi,

I guess, that will not work.
