how to know the basics of HR module

As I am new to SAP and dealing with SAP HR module so please suggest me from where should I get the basic knowledge .

and so on. And try to read HR050, it contains all basic & necessary knowledge in HCM. Or of course you can find lot useful data in this forum.

Hi,

There are many books available in SAP Press like Mastering SAP HR, also there is a help link available help.sap. In that book you will get overview almost all modules of SAP HR. Better go for that.

Hi

Basic Knowledge means are u talking abt Functional or Technical

in Case of Functional : i feel in certain modules you shd know the fudamentals of the process ,especially Payroll

where you we will be dealing with statutory acts like Provident fund , ESI , Professinal tax Etc

When it comes to other moduels the you shd know the functionality and the technical aspects of the systems like Personal actions , Organisational managment etc

Finally , in order to gain the knowledge please check Saphelp.com and take the reference of some queries in the forum

SAP HR consists of lot of modules which module you want to expertise

and lets wait for other suggestions too
