How to create flat file data source on BODI source system..

Hi Friends,

We are attempting to create a data source on BODI source system for extracting the Headcount files which will be used for extracting actual and plan flow data . The actual and plan data files (flat files will coming coming form BODI we are trying to create the data sources for the same but the systm is throwing up the error message "Data source object type RSDS not supported in BAPI source system" when we are trying to create the data source on the source system tryp (BODI) in RSA1.

Can anyone please suggest if we need to follow any specific procedure for creating the data sources for extracting the data from BODI based source systems.

the second point is will 3.x support the BODI type source system data sources?
