Can SO be changed with reference with Quote

Hi Gurus,

In my process, am struggling whenever I want to change the SO which is created with ref. with Quote. for eg..if I want to change the price in SO since it is created with ref. Quote, am not able to do the change. so I am closing the existing SO and creating new one. This is leading to double loading. I suppose this is not right. Please let me know can i do any change in first SO itself without creating new one. Thanks
