Configuring cookies in SMP3.0 SP03

Former Member

Hello All,

We are using the SMP Mobile Platform SMP 3.0 SP03

While communicating from SMP Server to backend systems(Microsoft IIS Server), SMP Server is creating the cookies X-SMP-SESSIDSSO and X-SMP-SESSID. Because of these cookies, the backend system is not allowing the request to be processed and throwing the HTTP 400 Bad Request error. Hence we are looking to disable these cookies. Is there any way to configure the SMP server to disable these cookies in SMP 3.0 SP03?

Thanks in Advance.

Thanks & Regards,

Suresh

Hi Suresh,

Have you tried searching using the following search tools? The first two are custom Google Searches created by Jason Lax and the third is the new 1DX search tool (to be comprehensively implemented across all 1DX sites next year as I understand it).

  1. https://cse.google.com/cse/home?cx=013447253335410278659:5di2969x5we
  2. https://www.google.com/cse/home?cx=013447253335410278659:k8ob9ipscwg
  3. https://onedx.find.sap.com/

Each has their strengths, so I generally recommend trying them all before posting questions. We have a tremendous institutional knowledge stored in the Archives and I suspect your question has been answered previously.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for sharing the custom search links. But I didn't find any solution from the above sources.

Also I found that, in SP8.0, the cookies generated by SMP server will be filtered out before calling the backend.

Is the same thing not happening in SP3.0. So I am for an workaround to do the same. Can someone help me out in this?

Thanks & Regards,
