Editing container value in workflow log

Hi,

I am trying to edit the approver list in workflow logs. The workflow is in awaiting approver step waiting for the first approver to approve it.

I am using admin transaction (E.g. SWIA, Select work item and display, menu: Menu => Technical work item display, Menu: Edit => Change).

But I need to change the approver to my id so that I can approve it.

Can I edit cantainer value for it? Or if I change the container value, I think I would need to resart the workflow? I tried to delete and edit approvers in the container and enter and back from the logs screen. But I dont see the approvers value changing when I go again to

Do I have to press save some where or just an enter should be fine? Am I doing something wrong?
