CO-PA Extraction end-to-end test scripts - Please help on R3 side

Hello Folks,

I need some REAL help as I am NOT A CO-PA expert. I was given this task of testing CO-PA extraction which we recently developed in house (I used the white paper document "How To ... CO-PA Extraction").

Unfortunately, my CO-PA expert is on leave and we need to test it urgently and I have no clue how to test this puppy - I mean I do not know any transaction on CO-PA side to create CO-PA data and Delta.

Is there any documentation, either developed inhouse or provided by SAP which may help me?

thank you

    Hello Jay

    Which plug-in are using?

    Are you 2004_1 or less?

COPA is not so simply. KEB0 where you create the extractor or display it as you cannot change it.

    KEB5 and KEB2 with plug-in 2001_2 -2003_1.

DO you load init-delta or full?

COPA data are created in KE21N- KE26 for example or from finca side.

Are you account based or costing based in R/3.

I hope this can help you.

      Hi Jay,

Is data available in COPA yet?

If yes go to RSA3 in R\3 and start a test extraction. That will show you if the datasource works at all.

If no data is in COPA you will have to wait for the FICO guy to run the settlements and fill COPA from the SD, etc.

Is the copa scenario in BW developed and connected to the replicated COPA datasource?

If yes start the delta initialization then you will see if data arrives in the cube. You can also run a delta initialization on a smart & small selection you made in the infopackage for test purposes. If it works simply delete the delta init and do the final run.

To test the delta uploads you will need new data in copa, unless you find a business user that can book some test entries directly in COPA you will have to wait for the FICO guy again.

      Hope that helped,
