What roles need to assign for user - ABAP Proxy - Receiver

Hi Friends,

We are doing JDBC to Proxy receiver scenario.

In PI system, we have created one destination (type H) for R/3 system. Entered R/3 system host name, system number and path prefix.

From PI system to login into ABAP system, (since proxy is receiver), what roles we need to assign this user in R/3.

Could you please clarify ?

As Gouri said, this one role is enough "SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER" to send the proxy message to application system. It is working for us.

Really thank you very much for your reply. We wil create one service user and add the role "SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER " and check. Once it works, I will close the thread.

In short assign the role 'SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER'.
