Unable to get JCO connection in RFC model

Hi

I am trying to make a RFC model.

I am using single server for that.

The Model is created successfully but when I run the application I get following exception.

"com.sap.dictionary.runtime.DdException: TypeBroker failed to access SLD: Error while obtaining JCO connection"

I referred for relevent discussion in the forum,But its not leading to any particular solution.

Please tell me if there is any special configuration needed for this.

Hi Ashwani,

Have you configured your SLD connection through your Visual Admin? Please check it with Visual Admin --> Services --> SLD Data Supplier --> Http Settings and CIM Client Generation Settings tabs. You can test your SLD connectivity from CIM Client Settings by clicking CIMClient Test button. After this is done, you have to create the JCo destinations in the WebDynpro web console. For that you will get many post in SDN. But from the error it seems that you have problem in SLD connectivity.
