Dear Gurus,
The partiton which contains the siddb datas (sapdata 1 ,sapdata 2,sapdata3,sapdata4) is going to get over. just 5% remains.
i have a partition with space 250gb in the same disk free. can i use the command ALTER DATABASE ADD STORAGE ON K:
to add the storage path. will it create the storage path sapdata (n) automatically & the storage path will be added in automatic storage.
after searching through websites i got this idea. I have a doubt before doing it .
Kindly confirm me is this the right way of doing it.
My landscape is SAP ECC6 ehp 4, Db2 9.5 in windows 2003 system.
Plz reply at the earliest. Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I really doubt if it is possible.
Go with the conventional way of adding space to windows partition w.r.t database like how to move datafiles to a different more spacious disk partition.
Thanks

Hi, 2 partitions on the same disk, why not using a partition tool to shrink the partition with 250 GB free space and extend the other one ? ...
