Hi colleagues,
we want top use SRM 7.1 with extended classic scenario and we want to create POs in SRM and reflect them in ERP backend. The question is it possible somehow to change those POs aftewards (e.q. add confirmations, transportation costs, etc...) in ERP? Or is there any way to trasnfer POs in hold status from SRM to ERP and then change them in ERP?
Thanks and regards, Anton
Hi Anton,
PO is created a in SRM as local and a copy( copy does not contain the entire PO info, only the useful for the backend) is being sent to R3.
DO NOT try to search a workaround for modification in the backend..sooner or later you will be incurring in incosisnten data and misalignmentes.
SRM is the PO golden source.
Thanks and Regards,
Abraham

Hi,
If the PO is from SRM then the EKKO-STATU will have the value K ( Purchase Order from BBP ). Change the value to 9 (Enjoy Purchase Order). Then the PO will open in editing mode to some extent.
But note that, this is a very crude way of doing it. Not recommended; one is NOT expected to change the PO in ECC once it ispproved in SRM. If at all such things are made under extemely exceptional situations, be careful to check all the related scenarios throughly.

Hi,
What is business need to change PO when you are in ECS mode? You can't change PO in Backend when you are in ECS mode. You need to make decison on Scenarios, based on prioritization of business needs.
thanks,

Hi all, thank you for replies. We plan to get MRP generated requirements from ERP. These will be stock materials. Then we transfer requirements to SRM for sourcing processes. As far as I know such processes can be implemented with Extended Classic Scenario only. But from other side POs transferred from SRM should be changed in ERP.
Best regards, Anton
