cost center not displaying in standard hierarchy

We have create the new cost center. the created cost center if we viewed in KSH2 hierarchy group new cost center number is displaying but description is showing " no valid master data" how to activate the new cost center to display in standard hierarchy.

Hi,

normally it is automatically; however if you have this problem go to transaction okeon, and go to : extras--> hierarchy -master data --> comparison.

as per your suggestion i checked up it is showing no error. i gave valid date from jan 2012 is it a issue? if so why, what is the reason?

if it is created in the future, it is normal that you don't have in the hierarchy.

Hi,

Try going to OKEON (standard hierarchy); Menu - Extras - Ambiguity checks and also Menu - Extras - Hierarchy - Test. See if the problem is resolved.

Otherwise, check again your master data KS03 and CSKS table.

Just small remark: in OKEON (OKENN) this cost centre(description) will be shown despite of the fact that it's defined as from 2012 only.
