Hi all,
when I get the Result List after a Search in TREX 6.1, I can see preview of the (I think) first lines which are included in the document - Does anybody know, if it's possible to change that, so that there will not be shown the first lines of the content of a document but the description of the Document?
Regards,
Andy
Hi Andy,
in the settings of your SearchResultLayoutSet in "Displayed Properties" excchange DocumentAbstract for Description...roughly speaking...check Admin Guide for details.
By the way:
The Abstract are not merely the first lines. They are the lines around the "best hits".

Karsten

Hi Andy,
let me add a bit to Karsten's info, specifically:
change "rnd:documentabstract" to "rnd:description"
or "description"
"rnd:description" will show a truncated version of the
description, whereas "description" will show the
complete description.
It would also be possible to add the description without
replacing the abstract.
I would also strongly suggest copying the objects or
settings prior to changing them in case things get
messed up.
Regards,
Darin
