Hi experts,
Please list out the technical steps that needs to install adobe forms and ADS. And also please let me know whether this contains any releases.
Thanks in advance,
Sathishkumar GS
HI Sathish,
If you have Java stack installed on your landscape then ADS will come as default with your software components in Portal system or Java stack existed system.
There are many steps configuring the ADS where you required. Need configuration on ABAP system at SM59 RFC destination & few other steps in your Java system where ADS is installed using Visul Admin tool.
Please check with your Basis Admin for this.

Your SAP GUI has nothing to do with the ADS - that's the Adobe Document Server and it's installed on a java stack. Your BASIS team will need to do this. You'll need an SM59 connection to it.
As far as technical steps, I'm sure there are OSS Notes for this as it's not as simple as installing Microsoft Word.
However, yes, you can install the frontend IDE Adobe Livecycle Designer from the SAP GUI installation, but that's the only thing you can install.
