How to fully uninstall

Hi,

An error showed up during my installation for MS 7.5 SP03, therefore I deleted the folder PC_MS and the HKEY LOCAL MACHINE Software - Outlooksoft and SOFTWARE SAP AG - Sap BO planning and consolidation.

After this, I was not able to fully delete the folder PC_MS that still has OsoftServiceManager because it says "windows service start failure, a windows service must be installed first, and then strated with the server explorer, windows services administrative tool or NTE START command"

What can i do now?

How do I fully uninstall...

How can I fix this?

Error:

Validate base member of Time dimension. : Succeed

Get information of ApShel from SQL. : Succeed

Check Insight : Insight disabled.

Connect to Olap server(BPCDEMO) :

: True - Message:OLE DB error: OLE DB or ODBC error.

Errors in the high-level relational engine. A connection could not be made to the data source with the DataSourceID of 'AppDef', Name of 'AppDef'.

Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while the dimension, with the ID of 'ApShell', Name of 'C_ACCT' was being processed.

Server: The operation has been cancelled.

Hi,

As John has rightly indicated, you should uninstall it from the control panel. After the uninstallation, you should delete any relevant folders from your "My Documents" and "C:\Program Files" folders.

Hi,

Thanx for the response. So, firstly unisntall the clients from control panel and then every folder related to BPC (PC_MS) right?

I performed this and apparently everything was uninstalled.

However I still have issues installing again, the previous error still is showing up and eventhough I made the following I cant succeed, any suggestions?

Workaround 1.

Open up SQL Management Studio

2. Go to Security > Logins > NT AUTHORITYLOCAL SERVICE

3. Right click > Properties

4. In the User Mapping section tick ApShell

5. In the bottom section of the screen, tick db_datareader

Workaround 2.

Install SQLSERVER2008_ASAMO10, SQLServer2005_ADOMD_x64 and SQLServer2008_ADOMD10_x64

To uninstall BPC, you must open the Control Panel --> Add or Remove Programs window.

Then uninstall the SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation Server

Give that a try.
