Stock transfer between storage locations from HUM into non-HUM WM

Dear all,

We are implementing plants with storage locations managed with WM or with HUM.

Configuration allows you to transfer materials from WM into HUM storage location, and HUs are properly transferred into HUM system.

Problem comes when we try to make inverse flow: we cannot make the putaway into the WM system.

Process followed is:

1. VLMOVE with movement 311 from HUM_SLOC to WM_SLOC.

2. Inbound delivery is properly generated and HU is associated into it. Header is properly maintained: relevant for putaway, relevant for WM activities and for goods receipt.

3. When try to create Transfer Order next error is displayed:

No items or handling units to be placed in storage could be determined

Message no. L3898

Where next issues are checked:

The delivery item is assigned to the specified warehouse number .

The delivery item is assigned to the specified plant.

The putaway status of the delivery item is "relevant"

The WM status of the delivery item is.

¿What should I do in order to complete the process?

Hi Rajiv,

Thank you for your quick response, but Note is not applicable to our SAP system (is a new release). Is there any other solution??
