KM & BOE XI 3.1 Integration

In trying to setup KM integration between SAP Portal and BOE, I am having trouble getting the correct URL's from the basis team to enter into the repository manager settings.

I need the following:

- Dispatch URL

- OpenDoc URL

- URL to Logoff BOE

- Web Service URL

Each of these properties are pre-configured with a template, and in theory all I am required to do is replace the <web_server_and_port> section.

As I am struggling to get this to work, I am trying to find a way to verify the pieces of information that I am entering. One though is to take the URL that is "generated" and enter that in a browser to see what it loads.

For example, Dispatch URL becomes http://vepdweb.sap.xxx.co.za/SAP/jsp/Action_Dispatch/dispatch.jsp once I have put in the FQDN according to the basis team. However, when I use that URL in a new window, I get an error:

Error: Server sapbcd1 not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null

That implies to me there is either something incorrect in the URL (although I am given a login screen), or there is something missing on the BOE config side of things.

Alternately, take the similarly generated URL for Web Service URL, which now becomes http://vepdweb.sap.xxx.co.za/dswsbobje/services/, I now get an Apache Internal Server error.

Any ideas on whether these URL's should work as standalone URL's?
