posting the account doc for the movement type 311

Hi Experts,

Can you please brief me about the Accounting doc while using the 311 movement type. if there is involve the split valutation in internal purpose or external purpose.

Hi,

Accounting document will only be generated during transfer posting using 311,if the material is subject to split valuation and the valuation type changes during the posting..

It is usually posted without value, since the transferred material is managed in the same plant and therefore with the same valuation data as before...

Hi Nilu,

See that Mvt 311 is trf betwn st.loc to st.loc, where the goods are not leaving any valuation area, hence there's no value change, which means Accounting Documents are not created as they are not necessary.

Hi,

311 mov type is for transfer posting between sloc to sloc within the same plant and there wont be any kind of Accounting documents since the standard valuation of materials will b at the plant level.
